Lia's second day of preschool went well. When I picked her up she nonchalantly walked out with a purple kitty backpack on. It wasn't hers. No one had any idea who it actually belonged to. She was quite heartbroken when I made her leave it at preschool. I guess it's time to get her a backpack...all the other kids have one...
Lia did some serious painting. It's amusing and exasperating to see the colors slowly get more and more muddled. I'm not sure why it bothers me, but I try to keep my mouth shut and let her muddy them up until her heart's content. She's just not a fan of washing the paintbrush off.
Bike riding this afternoon.
Eden made up for her 1.5 hours of nap time yesterday by nearly sleeping the day away in the wrap. So sweet to have her snuggled up to me everywhere we go. Tonight should be interesting though...
Cinnamon bread and milk on the front steps. Kenya was (literally) drolling over it the whole time, but managed to restrain herself. Can you see the anticipation on her face? Lia almost always drops a crumb or two for her, regardless of how many times we tell her not to feed Kenya.
Dinner was delicious.
Perfect recipe for the summer abundance of tomatoes and corn.
