Pita Pizzas

Dinner last night was quick and tasty.

from kelly's blog.

Just take a pita (whole wheat if you please), slop some sauce on top, sprinkle with cheese and add desired toppings. I love corn, tomatoes, and green peppers. Pop in the oven at a high temperature until it's done. The secret is a sprinkle of sea salt and a fresh grind of pepper when you take it out of the oven. Mmmm.

For dessert there was peaches and (milky) cream.

the earlier nights are making it harder to get a decent photo

The peaches here are really delicious right now. We are trying to eat as many as possible while we can. This is a super simple dessert, the only requirement is that you make extra so you can spoon some over your oatmeal in the morning.

Peaches and (milky) Cream
1. Place a large bowl in the sink and put your desired number of peaches in it (we used 7).
2. Pour boiling water over peaches, and count to 30, stirring peaches once about halfway through.
3. Run cold water over peaches, then peel of the skins and cut into bite-sized pieces.
4. Add some sugar to the peaches (a few spoonfuls) and let it sit for a few minutes.
5. Add cream and milk to your liking. I like about a 50/50 split. Mark would like it with 100% cream.

I loved reading all the happy comments. Thank you for taking the time to leave them.

I love reading about all the delicous food you make, but 2 questions I've been wanting to ask:
1. Does Lia eat everything you make?
2. If so, how on earth do you get her to eat different types of food?
My DD basically lives on fruit and bread!!!
